EPYSA Coaches Workshop Update:
Our very
own FC York ’95 Elite Girls will be featured at
this years EPYSA Coaches Workshop on Saturday, March 6th
in Downingtown, PA. The girls will be used as demonstrators for
a training session run by the head coach of the West Chester
University Men’s Soccer program, Kendall Walkes. Our girls will
be on Field #2 from 12:30 to 1:30 with Kendall as he runs a
session entitled, Creativity and Comfort with the ball. This is
a real honor for the team as well as great publicity for the
club. Please come out to support them and experience everything
else the workshop has to offer.

Please join FC York at
Briarwood East Golf Course for our first annual golf
tournament on Friday, May 7th at noon. The format will be a 4
man best ball scramble with hole in one, longest drive and
putting contests as well as door prizes. Cost is $80 per person
which includes greens fees, cart, a great meal and beverages at
the course.

check made out to FC York.
Each golfer and FC York player will receive a program for this
great event. If interested in advertising within the program you
can do so as either a
business advertisement or
individual
sponsorship.

Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) at
our
Annual Coaches Workshop and Vendor Show on Saturday, March
6, 2010 at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, PA
(map &
directions). This years event will include training
demonstrations from top coaching talent plus classroom seminars
on administrative topics. The vendor show area will feature the
latest in equipment, uniforms, fundraising, and technology
solutions. New this year will be activities for the kids; check
out the Kick Zone for fun games and prizes.

can also purchase a
Saturday only registration for only $15 for the National
Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)
Annual
Convention in Philadelphia and your EPYSA Workshop

Congratulations to FC York
DOC Joe Dizio for his being awarded the NSCAA East Youth Girls
Regional Coach of the Year for 2009. The youth coaches are selected by
a national committee from a pool of nominees from NSCAA member
coaches. There are four Regional Coaches recognized nationally.
