PHILOSOPHY:
The goal of the York United Soccer Club is to provide competitive
soccer opportunities for youth and to develop life skills such as
cooperation, teamwork, discipline, decision-making and leadership
through a positive soccer experience for each player. The
practices, matches, and other associated functions offer many
opportunities for personal growth in a team setting. Coupled with
these opportunities is the obligation for players to be mindful of
the effects of their behavior on themselves and on others. It is
the responsibility of the players, together with the adults in the
program, to conduct themselves in a manner which is in compliance
with the mission, goals, values and policies of the York United
Soccer Club.
DEFINITION:
The Code of Conduct is the standard of behavior which is expected
of all York United players, coaches, and parents. It is in effect
at all practices, matches, and any other team function. If the team
is attending a function lasting more than one day, such as a
tournament, this Code is in effect at all times during the stay.
